Technologies Inc., developers of Net Integrator Integrated
Office Super Servers designed for the SMB/SME marketplace,
today released the latest version of the Net Integrator
Operating System: NIOS 3.71.
Along with a host of new and improved
features, NIOS 3.71 provides two important new capabilities:
Windows domain controller and Hot Swappable Intelligent
Disk Backup (IDB).
Net Integrator can now act as a Windows
Domain Controller allowing Microsoft Clients to login
and be authenticated using the NI server. Part of the
enhanced features provides the ability to auto connect
users and teams by mapping drive letters via login scripts.
For enhanced uptime, reliability and convenience,
the new Hot Swappable IDB feature can now be enabled
on any Net Integrator Mark II configured with Intelligent
Disk Backup.
The long list of increased functionality
and capabilities include:
New: ICSA firewall security certification
New: Active Queue Management for network interfaces
New: Windows migration tools
Improved: APOP authentication
Improved: even more flexible web server configuration
Improved: printer support
Improved: Each IPsec route now has a PFS (Perfect
Forward Secrecy) option
